My Voice Experience

I began working with my voice as a broadcaster in XHI-TV and SuperStereo 90 Radio, where I used to make interviews and some commercials. That was back in 1987 in Sonora, Mexico, where I still live. While studying Mass Media and Communication at the University, I polished my voice and started working with different accents and English language. Occasionally, I used to be the hostess in some live shows. Then I started working as an English to Spanish translator in 1990 and some of my clients required voice recordings for their proyects, so I have made voice-overs and other kind of audio recordings for e-learning programs, documentaries, audio-books and videos for training purposes.

My Training

Six-month training as a presenter in SuperStereo 90 Radio and a bachelor degree in Mass Media and Communication at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico in Hermosillo, Mexico.

My Studio Equipment

My equipment is minimal, just my computer, WavePad software and a microphone. I use to deliver a voice-only recording in 16 bits, 44100 kHz, mono or stereo, or the specifications they may require; sometimes they provide the scripts with specific time frames indications and sometimes they provide the original video or audio in English and I create the scripts for the Spanish version.

Additional Skills

A combined experience of more than 20 years as a broadcaster, newsreader, presenter, hostess in TV and live shows, amateur theatre actress, journalist, trainer and English to Spanish translator, plus a bachelor degree in Mass Media and Communication, all placed at your disposal.
