My Voice Experience

I have done a series of relaxation tapes for a psychologist, but many times I have been encouraged to pursue voiceover work, which is what I am doing now.

My Training

My B.A. was in English, but I also studied acting and playwriting.

I attended a voiceover seminar, then later completed a voiceover training course conducted by a long-time voiceover professional, who then coached me in private sessions, after which he recommended me to his agent (Pastorini-Bosby in Houston), who listened to my demo and agreed to represent me.

I am a playwright who has also performed as an actor in scores of play readings through the years, interpreting not only my own work, but also the work of others.

My Studio Equipment

I have Windows XP as my operating system. I record on Audacity with an audio-technica cardioid condenser microphone.

Additional Skills

As a social worker for many years, dealing with a variety of situations, I became proficient in adapting my voice as necessary, whether sympathetic or severe, inquisitive or commanding.
