My Voice Experience

The only experience that I currently have now is phone answering messages for friend and relatives. I also have about 10 years of experience speaking to customers on the phone with my sales and customer service jobs. I am also a skilled musician and singer/songwriter.

My Training

I have an honors certificate from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Ca.. I also have a small music production studio in my home which has taught me a lot about midi and audio recording. I'm also an active performer with several local and national recording and performing artist. I attended Va. State University in the 70's as a business major. I've read some books on commercial voice-overs. The most helpful was "Word Of Mouth" by Susan Blu and Molly Ann Mullin.

My Studio Equipment

I have a small midi/audio studio in my home. Several guitars that I play professionally. I have a keyboard (Ensoniq) thats reliable and is used as my main controller. I'm also using a computer totally dedicated for music production. My main program is Sonar pro edition along with several amazing sounding virtual synthesizers, effect processors, and keyboards. Currently looking to upgrade and purchase more microphones, but I have access to top quality microphones when needed for a project. I also have access to other studio facilities in my area if required.

Additional Skills

As mentioned earlier. I am a professional musician (guitarist,vocalist,and composer). I play a little keyboards. I receive my training from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Ca.. I've performed with national(Ronnie Laws,Angela Boffill,Jackiem Joyner,Jean Carne, Bobby Lyle, Clarence Carter,etc...) and local artist with many years of experience. I've also held many telephone sales and service jobs where voice inflection and presentation was integral for success.
