I have always loved linguistics and vocal arts. From a young age I was drawn to the artistry of puppet theatres.
I have done two translations from French to English and then did the English voiceover in a local studio in downtown Vancouver where Brian Adams recorded his first song. No second takes as in conference interpreting (my profession of choice) we do not have that opportunity...You must get it right the first time round.
In Brussels, Belgium, I was asked to do a voiceover for a Flemish producer of dogfoods...editing of the Dutch-English translation first.
