Voice Description

My voice has often been described as Sophisticated, Sexy, Soothing and Empathetic. I am excellent at enunciating words and take pride in pronouncing proper names correctly. Therefore, I can emote a very concise and clear presentation for a more serious voice project. At the same time, I have an excellent sense of humor and am able to create silly voices or inject a fun upbeat tone for lighter topic voice-over jobs.

My Voice Experience

I am actually just beginning to take my voice talent outside of telephone auto-attendant work. I was the "voice" of my former company, the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc, for 9 years, by being the sole individual responsible for recording the company's phone system auto-attendant. I also recorded many of the on-hold messages for all incoming calls. While I still enjoy doing telephone "voice" work, I am also looking to broaden my horizons.

My Training

My voice talent comes naturally. My career has been in customer service, where I use my voice to assuage callers' concerns. Callers have told me on numerous occasions how calming my voice is. I also have a brother who does video productions as part of his profession and have assisted him on many of his projects; many requiring me to read scripts and create different voices.

Additional Skills

In working on projects with my brother, spanning over 20 years, I have learned keenly how to take direction. I trust the director's vision and adjust my actions accordingly. I have a very easy-going demeanor, but also take my job assignments very seriously. I come from a very creative family. When we were younger, my siblings and I would use professional dubbing equipment to voice over classic movies just for fun. Thus, I am very adept at playing a role and creating a character according to my instincts and visual clues.
