Additional Skills

In the various IT sector roles I've held during my career, I've had the opportunity to work on many exciting projects for some truly outstanding companies.

As Senior Web Developer at 02 UK (1998 - 2003) for example, I was expected to be professional, organised and versatile. It was my part of my role to convey the revolutionary technical detail of what we were working on with clarity and approachability, to members of staff at every level of the organisation. Working to deadline, to specification and within budget were key to the success of my department.

More recently, I've taken a role in a local Secondary School as a teaching assistant. Not the most obvious career move perhaps - but what excites me in any job is developing my skills as a communicator and bringing useful ideas to a wider audience. As a web developer, as a teaching assistant and as a voice over artist, that passion for communication combined with a strong work ethic are what makes me the worker I am.
