Voice Description

This is all new to me but I have been always told by family and friends that I should apply for voice over jobs. I speak fluent english and spanish and can do various voices in both languages. I can also have a spanish accent in english and an english accent in spanish. I can sound like a southern person in english and a "low class" spanish person. I can sound like a little girl (or boy) up to an old man. I actually get into character and have fooled close family members with my various voices.

My Voice Experience

I used to own a gym and we offered yearly monthly weekly and daily memberships. So one day I called my clerk (always a good friend) and on this incident used a female voice:

Clerk: Muscle Gym how may I help you?

Me: (female voice) Yes hi, I'm only going to live in Miami for one year, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days...how much is a membership for that amount of time?

Clerk: Ummm, what was that again? For how long?

Me: One year, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days.

Clerk: Ok mam can you hold on a minute so I can calculate this?

Me: Sure thing!

Me: (2 seconds later) Ready?

Clerk: Ahhh.....no mam please give me a second!

Me: Oh ok.

Me: (2 seconds later) Ready?

Clerk: NO MAM!!!! PLEASE I NEED TO CALCULATE THIS RATE! GIVE ME A MINUTE!!

Me: Oh ok, I'm sorry.

Clerk: No it's ok, one minute please!

Me: Ok.

Me: (2 seconds later) Ready now?

Clerk: Ummm.....mam I really need for you to be more patient I need to do some math here!!

Me: Oh I'm so sorry...I get a little nervous.

Clerk: Ok one second please!!

Me: Ok.............Ready??

Clerk: MAM!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: (in my regular voice) Hey Mike it's me man!! haha, don't worry about the calculations...hahaha!!!

Mike: OH MY GOD!!!!! I was ready to send you to hell!!!!! how the F--- did you do that voice man!?!?!?! you really had me going there Camilo.

Me: I know Mike but you had great patience, that's awesome.

Mike: OH man you really had me going!!

Ok, the rest was just talking about the day and mike freaking out over my female voice.

But you get the picture. I would then use another voice and get him again...haha.

There are many incidents like these with family and freinds. I sure have a great time using my voices and would love to get work using them. I have not recorded professionally, only voice mails and things like that.

It would be awesome to begin a carreer in voice over.

Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me. Like I said, I don't have a Demo or anything at the moment but f you need one I will get it done.

My voices would be great for cartoon characters as well as any other type of voice over.

Additional Skills

I owned and managed a gym for 14 years which taught me how to deal with a variety of different clients. I was also a personal trainer which gave me one to one with other people.

I am an architect so I deal with a variety of clients in this field too which differs from the health oriented gym scenario.

How this will help me on a voice over career I have no idea, but I thought I would mention it anyways. It shows my experiance with people, with work, public relations abd dealing with the general public to name a few things.
