I have been studying voice informally all my life from the characters my father created when reading aloud to me to my own study of voices and people in my travels. I have a natural fascination with words through different voices and regions. I have developed my skills with language from professionally teaching writing and literature over the past sixteen years.
In the past year, I have been studying formally with a Voice Coach, John Burr, who worked for many years in voice over production. I have especially enjoyed my work with narratives, but also love how a short spot can encourage a truly expert and polished approached.

I come from a long line of teachers and professors. Each of us focused on language and culture as subject areas. My experience in both a professional and a personal setting have helped me develop my talent for language over the course of my lifetime.
Because of my experience teaching, I feel especially suited for instructional videos and narratives.
My love of drama and appreciation for dialects and nuances in speaking make me an ideal voice talent for shorter, more playful pieces as well.
