My Voice Experience

As a kid growing up in a small town in Texas I used to listen to the music coming out of my moms stereo every time she put a record on. I use to just sit there and listen and wonder how they made the sounds they made coming from those speakers. And from that time on I knew I would be involved some how with the production of sound recordings. After moving to Indiana at the age of 14 with my mom and two brothers I began to read music recording magizines and making music tracks on a small yamaha keyboard. At the same time I was recording the work I did as well as any other material I could get my hands on mastering the art of recording music and voice at a natural level. After high school and a four year stint in the Marine Corp I went back to school to study audio recording getting my certificate in Recording Engineering at the Audio Institute of America in 1997. I recorded several artist in a studio environment including mixing an editing their finished tracks. Being in a live studio environment has allowed me to grow and mature in ways that really captures the sound a client is looking for to bring any project alive. And if that wasn't enough on my plate I went back to expanding my production skills in broadcasting to produce radio commercials and sweepers. The equipment I use is a yamaha 16 track digital mixer, Korg Triton studio, Roland dr5 drum machine, Fruity Loops studio edition, Adobe Audition, BBE sonic maximizer, and abundance of sound FX.

I recieved voiceover and vocal coaching at American Broadcasting School in Tulsa, Ok. I also recieved training in Audio Recording at The Audio Institute of America in San Francisco, Ca. in 1997.
