Voice Description

My voice has been described as very full, deep, and articulate. It has also been described as transitional, being able to change voice pitches or voice attitudes when appropirate. It can be presented with a strong, forceful tone for documentaries or motivational stories; it can also alter to high pitched, kid-like for certain adolescent commercials. My voice can also be used for informative matters such as news reporting, public speeches, and/or private lectures. My voice is very diverse when needed and can also be used for musical purposes such as hip-hop artist rapping or creating musical ideas for commercial jingles along with singing a few bars!! Overall, my voice has been expressed by others as a definite gift and a viable assest to my future career in telecommunications.

My Voice Experience

I have done sooooo much with my voice from grade school through my years of college, to now. In school, I was always the lead role in numerous plays and concerts. I even composed many of my schools' songs early on while performing them. But it wasn't until I entered college at
Florida A&M University, which has a highly credited journalism program, where I really used the opportunity to showcase my verbal skills. All of my professors would tell me, "Caleb, you have an outstanding voice. You should use it however possible!" Of course, I took heed to thier sayings. I did the sports and news broadcasts all through my junior and senior years of college, which includes television and radio broadcasts. I also was able to do a documentary in college where I was the voice-over for, not only my documentary, but three of my other classmates as well. I also have experience in the music industry as a writer and performer in Hip-Hop & R&B. My group consists of my best friend and I and we have been going at it strong these past four years as "broadCast" and "William G."; me being broadCast of course!! We have been getting spins on our local stations here in Tallahassse and our myspace page (myspace.com/dreemteem) As a matter fact we have produced a song commercially for our own local arena football team the Tallahassee Titans with the smash hit "It's Titian Time!" So as you can see, this line of work is right up my alley!!!

My Training

I am grateful to have graduated college with a degree in broadcast journalism and along with that I have presented two live evening news casts. The first was here in my hometown of Tallahassee at WCTV news Channel 6. I presented a live 11pm sports cast. THAT'S "LIVE"! NO CUTS, NO TAKE TWO'S! I successfully did this entering my junior year of college with no experience in front of the camera prior to that date which was June 2005 and I did exceptionally well if I may add according to the great feedback from everyone who watched. Secondly, I did an internship at Florida's #1 news market in Tampa, FL at WFLA newschannel 8 where I served as sports intern. Here I gained maximum experience from reporting sports stories with the Tampa Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning. I also did a live evening newscasts here as well at 6pm reporting all the sports events of the day. Lastly, I still continue to pursue my dream of being a hip hop artist. Whether by doing local performances here in Tallahasse or doing talent shows all the way to New York, I remain busy and working with my vocal taent. I believe it is conceiveable that my training belt is growing by the minute!!!

My journalism skills are second to none!!! I can write better, talk better, anything better than anyone and that's a promise!!! My music is nothing different!!! My music is my passion and I am also very good at it. Whether I'm writing for football teams or working on my perosnal music, I can go toe to toe with any artist along with my unique and tailor-fitted lyrical flow, which is upheld by no one in existence!!! Skill 4 skill I am the DEFINITE, the BEST, the WISE and THE ONLY CHOICE!!!
