Voice Description
My natural speaking voice is somewhat hoarse ... this is easily applied to knowing narration or a comforting counseling coffee/medication commercial. I can easily raise or lower the pitch and speed to vary the intensity of the message.
My character voicings go from the guy on the street, through folks possessing different levels of lunacy, all the way to the obviously fictional cartoon creature. Wherever the imagination can go.
I can not impersonate specific people or the girl/woman next door.

My Voice Experience
My voice-over work is currently next to nothing.
Over the past 30 years I have dubbed a couble characters in a long lost independent film and done a few small-time radio promotions ... all as favors to friends.
My Training
I have taken two voice over classes.
The first was in a local continuing education program 6 years ago ... this class taught me nothing I didn't already know.
The second was through the School of Visual Arts in NYC. This class is taught by the experienced voice-over artist Steve Harris and provides the students with ample recording studio time and constructive instuctor/peer feedback. Very worthwhile. This course showed me that I have what it takes to do this for a living.
My Studio Equipment
I have a Roland VS-2000 multi-track digital workstation with a Rode NT1-A studio condenser microphone.
