Voice Description

I have a very extensive range with my voice. From rich timbered to high & squeeky, I can add raspy, gravely and airy to lisps and speach impediments. I have a large range of very authentic accents from all over the world. Antonio Banderas-like to Disney's Goofy. Accents include: American Midwestern, East Coast, Various Southern, California Dude, New England, Minnesota, Various British, Irish, Scottish, African(Kenyan), French, German, Russian, Jamaican, Japanese,Italian, LA-Mexican, Punjab Indian and can learn others as needed. From "Mr. Announcer" to "Everyman in the street" I can make the voices very real to cartoony. From Commercial reads to Animation or Cartoonish voices for commercial, narration, voice dubbing and adr/looping. I also sing (Baritone-Tenor)in many styles from Opera, Country, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock to Sinatra/"Vegas-like" and More. Bird-like whistling, large and small dog barking, growling monster sounds and screaches and evil devil-like voices.

My Voice Experience

With a dozen years of Morning Radio Co-Host and Voice Character Experiance, I have voiced regular radio commercials, TV commercials and animation style characters for many years in markets including Los Angeles and New York City. I have also written and recorded a number of parody songs for radio. Most recently in addition to performing in front of the camera, voicing a number of animation characters for childrens animated projects including one which we performed background sounds from gushy mud and stubbly road sounds to cats and birds. In addition performed voices for a childrens Hare' Krishna project including both my version of a Punjabi child as well as a Seven Headed Serpent and an Eagle Headed God.

My Training

My first voice/accent training began at age 9 when I started imitating the Beatles. Love me do!
Recent training includes Voice-Over Seminars and classes from: Bob Bergen, Cynthia Songe', Larry Moss, Pat Fraley, Carroll Kimble and Rod Saulsberry. In addition a recent class in Improvisation.

My Studio Equipment

MacBook Pro laptop computer with Garage Band and iTunes, Rhodes Podcaster USB Microphone. I can not claim to be an audio engineer. I prefer to record in a studio for finished projects, but I can record basic quality at home for audition purposes.

Additional Skills

I am an easy going guy who takes direction well. I can perform exactly as directed or bring my own twist to any project. I am able to bring my creativity to a project if my input is desired, but I have no problem controlling myself when input is not welcome. I have been working as part of one team or another for many years and even though the players change or projects come and go, I have always been able to "Work well, play and get along with others".
