Voice Description

I have over 30 years experience as a performing musician, singer, songwriter, actor and public speaker. I have written, produced and performed the vocals on several radio jingles including a current jingle for EverStart Batteries at WalMart here in Eastern Ontario. I have both the experience, talent and vocal range to do anything from the sonorous professional narrator to high energy jingles and precise, clipped tones of a professional presenter.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I was raised and educated in Britain and have excellent diction and projection as well as a wide ranging vocabulary. I have a very large voice and can imitate almost any style of singing or speaking, changing the tone and quality of my voice to match the style. I can move between British upper-class, cockney, Irish, Scottish, Welsh accents with ease. My fathers Indian and Caribean heritage also gave me insight into authentic East Indian and caribean accents and patois, including their perculiar butchery of English language tenses. I can also do various Canadian and American regional accents including East Coast, Southern US, NY, Bostonian, and some other specific ethnic accents like Jewish/Yiddish, I speak some French, Spanish and Portuguese and do these accents well. I can also do very convincing Australian and South African accents.

My Voice Experience

I started imitating peoples voices and accents at a very young age to amuse my friends and family.

My most recent project is a jingle for EverStart Batteries at WalMart in Canada.

Recorded K-Tel like TV commercial for High School drama assignment gaining top marks for the quality of the copy and delivery.

I was lead singer in several working rock bands for 15 years, and have been a musician all my life. I sing and write my own songs (sample attached).

I recorded 3 separate studio demo albums of original rock material before I was 21.

I've also completed two jingles for local radio with B&C Productions, Belleville:
