Voice Description
I fortuneately have the ability to do many different things with my voice and adapt it to what the audition or scenario calls for. I can be announcer like, conversational, pitchman, sports talk guy, over the top or understated. My normal speaking voice is vibrant and resonant so an everyman spot is easily done. I spent some time overseas and speak German. Not fluently, but I can pronounce the German language and I have a very good ear for picking up dialects. The standard British dialects are natural, due to going to a British school system for two years growing up.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
English, British, can have some fun with Slavik or Russian accents. Do quite a good Australian and other Down Under accents. Have a great ear, so am able to hear something and modify the accent to my voice type.
My Voice Experience
I have been a singer since I was five. Hence, how I am able to adapt my voice to any scenario. I was mainly a theater actor. Started when I was little and never stopped. Graduated college with a BFA, moved to Chicago and performed on many of the large venues in the Chicago area, including The Goodman. Voice over wise I did an East Coast campaign for a wireless company, while in Columbus and then moved to Los Angeles. Did a year and a half of steady voice over work for a web based company called Spotrunner and am featured on hundreds of spec spots for their web site. I was in the booth for about 8 hours a week for a whole year and a half so that experience was invaluable because I read such a broad spectrum of topics.
My Training
Singer since the age of 5. Musical theater performer since then. Graduated from Otterbein College with a BFA. Consultation and demo recording from Mindy Verson from Chicago Illinois. Naturally talented in the genre and affectionately called "the one take wonder" from Mindy. I'd say the Spotrunner gig was a highly intensive training ground, due to the sheer volume and types of reads. I enjoy being in the booth and I take direction very well.
My Studio Equipment
Digital Player 5.1, Audio Kontrol 1 box, M-Audio Nova Class A Fet high condensor mic and pf-1 audio pop filter.
Additional Skills
I have the ability to record from home, obviously. I use Digital Player, an Audio Kontrol 1 box and an M-Audio Nova high condensor mic. I have been in the service industry for many years, so it is my job to make the customer happy. I pore a great Margarita behind the bar at Senor Freds on Ventura. I am personable, and I love doing a fantastic job. My job is to make you, the client, happy and I aim to please.
