Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Living in Richmond for 25 years I can do a GREAT southern voice (Richmond and Canada are the only places in the world that say "aboat" instead of "about"). I'm interested in breaking in so I'll work very hard to get the job done. I'm comfortable in my own skin and enjoy reading aloud;
especially complex issues that need a calm steady voice to get the message out.
Several lady's have mentioned that I have a nice voice so I'd be interested in being used in venues that need a male voice attractive to women.
My hero Don's not with us any more. Who else could take his place?
OK, what else - I can seem very friendly, playful and interested in YOU during conversation. I can be stern and very directed in debate. I can be light, cheerful and disarming in casual situations.

My Voice Experience

Singer in a band - Weekly gig with my church, did a military training voice over once.

My Training

50 years of studying EVERYONE'S voice - Started working at 11 years old in the Ford motor plant in NJ. Played bass in bands and singing backup since I was 15. Worked as a photog/reporter stringer with several local papers in Ohio. Built 2 darkrooms to develop my pic's. Always interviewing people for my pieces and developed the skills to engage people in the story. E.F. Hutton was my model. When I speak, people listen.
