Voice Description
My voice in summary is rich and deep. It is formally described as "Basso Profundo." I can sound highly educated, cultured and learned (this is because I am highly educated, cultured and learned). My voice sounds middle aged. I can perform many english dialects and foreign accents, but my native accent is NorthEastern WASP. I can read German very fluently but I have an American accent so I cannot be mistaken for a native speaker. I have been told many times that my voice is stentorian and personifies authority. I sound affluent and aristocratic.

My Voice Experience
I was a US Army Officer for almost 20 years ending in 1996. I have extensive experience with public speaking and speechwriting through military positions. I was in demand for work as an announcer and adjutant at military change of command ceremonies. I have facility with technical, miltary and poetic language delivery. I have also done extensive lay reading for religious congregations with extremely positive results and feedback.
My Training
I received professional training in Public Speaking as an undergraduate at Syracuse University in the late 1970s. In military service I was responsible for military units of up to 250 soldiers and was responsible for addressing them as a group on an almost daily basis. I worked with information technology and computer science professionals at a military contactor, Booz Allen Hamilton for the last 10 years which acquainted me with technical phrasing.
