Voice Description

I am most fortunate to have a very diversified range when it comes to my voice. My voice is usually described as having a very warm and deep quality to it. I am able to do characters as easily as I am able to do announcer spots. I am a trained actor so I can also do almost any scenario which presents itself. I have done some commercials for tv and radio. I have a few films in which I have appeared and am also a singer/songwriter and have a few credits in a few films.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am able to do a vast number of accents(british, german, swedish, italian, russian) My impersonaitons range from film stars of the past and present (James Stewart to Jack Nicolson) Political figures(George H.W.Bush to Bill Clinton) Television personalities like Larry King. I did have the honor to study briefly with two greats in the voice over game. Mr. Daws Butler (Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw Mc Graw to name a few) and also Gene Mc Garr (famous mostly for his film trailer work)

My Voice Experience

I have done various spots for film, television and radio over the past 6 years. The work has ranged from local radio ads to some looping work (non union mostly). I am SAG eligible as opposed to SAG. I am able to join the union with my next job.

My Training

Studied voice from a very young age. As a singer studied first with Dr. Poul Thomsen in Los Angeles. Also Lee, Sally and Steve Sweetland, Chip Hand and Seth Riggs.

Voice over studies were Cartoon Characters with Daws Butler and Announcer and additional type with Gene Mc Garr.

My Studio Equipment

I do not have my own studio but have ample access to several. I have a built in mic and am using the program on the internet.

Additional Skills

I have worked in many capacities during my long career in the entertainment world. The work I have done has ranged from Actor(film, television and stage)Singer(performing in night clubs and have done some recording for songs which have appeared in two motion pictures) and the above voice over work. Also I spent several years working as an Agent in tv film and television commercials. I was also briefly a talent booking agent in Nashville, TN.
