I began a career in radio in college because I wanted to find an extra activity. So I figured why not grab a radio show on the campus station. It was so much fun I changed my major and here I am! I've been the production director at the same station for the past 8 years. That has given me a good feel for what is NEEDED in the commercial and imaging world so I feel I can better give those reads to others. I have provided voice work in markets like Sacramento, Minneapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Omaha, and Detroit.

My Training

I majored in Mass Communications in college and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree. I have attended seminars in Colorado on radio production and voice overs. I've done voice overs for radio and more recently have broken into local news in Omaha as well.

Additional Skills

I am a skilled writer. I've been writing copy for years and I usually read a book a week. So if there's a mistake in your copy or something that's a little "off" I'm bound to catch it. Being in production myself I can often hear a recording in my head as I would produce it, thus enabling me to give a good read. I am fast and efficient. I understand deadlines and exceed expectations when it comes to time limits.
