Brittany App has successfully been in business for herself as a professional photographer since 2001, but has only recently jumped into the voice-over industry as a fresh and natural voice talent.
It began at a chance encounter with a local director of programming, who noticed a natural quality in her voice. Brittany was soon hosting a live midday show, and voicing and producing commercials for country station 98.1 KJUG, on California's central coast. In 2006, her all request lunch hour helped KJUG win the award for the county's best radio station.
More recent work includes imaging for B in Tune Radio, a new national radio program, and backsell reads for Cub Country 94.5 in Reno, Nevada.
Also, Brittany has been the lead imaging voice for the Krush @ 92.5, originally a hot AC station in San Luis Obispo, CA, since it's launch in early 2007. The Krush 92.5 is now a Wine Country Lifestyle station, and Brittany continues her work with them as the "Big Voice".
Brittany now does all her voice work from her home studio, and continues to treat her clients and listeners with professionalism, and every project with enthusiasm.
I am an artist - in every sense of the word. I hold a Fine Arts degree, which in my life has translated into owning and running a photography business since 2001, participating in theatre and dance for over ten years, traveling with an open mind and sense of wonder, and diving into the world of audio, head first. And the best part of it all? I'm loving every moment...
I have a portable home studio consisting of a Sennheiser MD 421 II Dynamic Microphone, a PreSonus Firebox, and a Toshiba Satellite Laptop Computer dedicated solely to audio production. I use Cubase for editing. The sound is clean, crisp, fabuloso!
I'm a professional photographer and journalist, a lover of people, a dancer, a traveller, and eager to accept new opportunities that life throws my way.
