My Voice Experience

Being an elementary school teacher I have my experience in entertaining children with stories. The better a story sounds to a child, the more fun it is to listen. When a child hears a duck in a book actually quack or a character whine when he is complaining, they really get into the story and have fun. I have recorded many children's books for my classroom, using different voices for each character. It is a wonderful technique to teach children about the "voice" of a story and to teach them that reading is fun.

In high school I participated in a Disney workshop where I recorded music and character voiceovers to incorporate into Disney movies.
