Voice Description
Due to the huge variety of broadcasting and voiceover work I have undertaken, my voice is incredibly adaptable. As the presenter of Entertainment News on BBC Radio 1 (the UK's biggest pop music station), my delivery was fun, chirpy, upbeat and informative. As a reporter for BBC News, my tone was paced, authoratative and often serious. My narration for the 'All Access series' on MTV/VH1/TMF is young, warm and colloquial. I have also narrated several documentaries for the BBC, which required a slower pace with careful intonation and expression.

My Voice Experience
My voice has appeared on numerous outlets in the UK and abroad. My biggest client is the BBC (TV, radio and online) for whom I have presented entertainment news, hard news reports, documentary narration, jingles, and agony aunt style problem solving, to name but a few.
For many years, I have been employed as the voiceover artist for the popular 'All Access' series broadcast on MTV, VH1 and TMF. This is a quirky, documentary-style entertainment show with a quizzical, comical look at the lives of celebrities.
I have also narrated numerous one-off shows for MTV such as '100 Greatest Number One Singles'.
As a Senior Broadcast Journalist for the BBC, I have also reported from around the world where my delivery has been more paced and authoratative as I have been dealing with more serious issues and stories.
My Training
I am a BBC-trained presenter/journalist. I presented shows for Radio 1 (the UK's biggest pop music station) for 10 years which led to offers of voiceover work from MTV, VH1 and TMF.
As a Senior Broadcast Journalist, I was a newsreader, presented news reports, packages, documentaries etc for almost all of the BBC network stations (Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 4, Radio 5, BBC6 Music and on tv: BBC1, BBC2, BBC3), terrestrial stations such as ITV, Channel 5 and satellite stations such as Sky.
I have also hosted a hard news and current affairs roundtable discussion programme on Oneword Radio (co-owned by Channel 4 - one of the UK's leading terrestrial TV channels) and I have also been an agony-aunt on Radio 1 hosting a live phone-in show.
I also regularly compere private functions which, again, are diverse - from Brighton's leading Fashion Show Extravaganza to a charity dinner for the Motor Trade industry. The variety of my work requires me to be adaptable both in my delivery and tone.
As a journalist, I have also written for various newspapers and magazines and I have recently started media training music students and producing podcasts for unsigned bands.
I also write with music for adverts with a musical colleague. I sung in bands from an early age and so have a good understanding of music and studios.

Additional Skills
As a BBC-trained journalist, I have been taught by some of the best producers, directors and editors in the World and I am incredibly proud to be a product of the BBC. My BBC career has led to other fascinating, exciting and rewarding work for many other large organisations for whom I always give 100% commitment and professionalism. I enjoy the responsibility of producing a story to it's fullest effect with the necessary tone and delivery.
