Voice Description

My voice has a very appealing commecial quality due to the fact that my diction is excellent combined with the energetic enthusiam I naturally project. I have a high-pitched voice, which I can manipulate within 3 octaves, as exemplified in the fact I can sing in the Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, and Alto ranges. I can reproduce the voice of a young girl, teenager, or young adult, which is an asset in selling to each demographic. Also,I can change the timbre(quality) of my voice from bell-like, animated, playful, and pristine, to a more adult deeper, richer, fuller, more husky sensual tone, which goes over well with the male demographic. I can speak with a Miami Cuban Spanish accent, as well as with a Brazilian Portuguese accent.

My Voice Experience

I was an on-air personality for 3 years at my campus radio station, WVUM 90.5 - "The Voice of the University of Miami." In addition to being a radio personality, I did PSA's for the radio station's programming. I have exercised my voice through singing, specifically in chorale and jazz ensembles while at the University of Miami. Spoken Word poetry performances.

My Training

Bachelor of Music(2005) in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) with a minor in Theatre Arts. I took a commercial acting class at UM in which I learned how to use the natural gift of my voice to accentuate a product, bring attention and energy to specific focal selling points.
