My Voice Experience

I was a firefighter-Paramedic in Maryland and wanted to try something new and different. So, I went back to school and got myself a Communications degree.

My Training

Communications Degree from the Univ. of MD, Continuing education class - Public Speaking, Commercial production for radio & TV stations in the Metro DC area, Vermont, Iowa and Illinois. Radio announcer since 1996.

Additional Skills

I have other skills and knowledge that could be helpful. Before getting into radio I was a Paramedic/Firefighter as well as dispatcher for MCDFRS, and did that for many years. I was also an assistant instructor at the Fire training academy.
Plus I have other experience in child care, restaurant-retail management, computers, Theater, as well as outdoor adventures(Hiking, adventure racing, triathlons, skiing, snowboarding) In most of these fields I have instructed others, so I am able to convey my knowledge easily.
