I have also worked for two plus decades as an commercial insurance executive involved in underwriting/brokerage, sales and marketing. Various roles had me traveling from coast to coast throughout the United States from the Manhattan skyline to the sun-drenched beaches of Southern California and from the Deep South to my original home town Windy City. It was during these travels that I experienced a vast array of cultures and characters - blessed with a keen ear I have picked up on various speech patterns and dialects which I now use in development of my character and animated voices. Additionally, public speaking engagements, board presentations, and daily sales pitches afforded me a wealth of opportunities to develop my signature "voice". I have also learned over the years to gage people's hot buttons which greatly affect their emotional ties to a particular delivery. I believe this has assisted me in finding the right voice for various types of copy.
