Voice Description

My everyday speaking voice is very deep, authoritative, and commanding, e.g.(James Earl Jones, Barry White). However, I have impeccable range. I can do friendly, fun, sexy, smooth, scary, old, cartoon characters, etc... Although i'm still working on my dialects, the ones I feel most comfortable with are british, and southern.

My Voice Experience

I've done narration commercials for Comcast Cable in Cypress, and The Lee Strasberg Theatre in Hollywood. Also I have recorded a few promos for an independent record label called Chereese Records and Productions in Los Angeles. All of these jobs were used for television within the last few years. I was also an on-air radio personality at Cypress College.

My Training

I started out taking voice over workshops at The Community Artists' Guild in Los Angeles from working actors, Duane Shepard, Keith Holliman, and Raphael Noble. I took a V.O. workshop from Wendy Braun recently in L.A., while working closely with V.O. actor, John Matthew, who also produced my demo. I'm currently taking a V.O. workshop from Susan Palyo at Voice Trax West in Studio City. Aside from being a classicly trained actor, i'm constantly taking voice and speech classes to help boost my skills. While at Comcast Cable, I was a live news anchorman for their weekly public access news show, which broadcasted over a few Orange County cities.

On the weekends, I work for Cool Sounds Mobile DJ and Entertainment Service. With them, I emcee for wedding receptions, corporate events, birthday parties, etc... I'm also very proficient in the art of beatboxing.
