Voice Description

I have an age range from the young 20's to middle 40's and anything in between! I've done everything from the non-announcerly to the announcerly and can do a variety of convincing accents including British accents of all sorts. My voice is deep and rich and can also be smooth and young sounding, like the guy next door or a young father. I can sound soft and caring as well as commanding. Most of all, I have range and know how to use my voice to fit any direction or copy.

I took two extensive classes taught by Lainie Frasier, a professional voice actor and teacher. She even produced my demo and pointed me in the direction of my current agent.

I have been active in local theater for 13 years and am a member of two bands which play the music of the Beatles and The Rutles as well as other 60's groups.

Additional Skills

I am used to working in a professional work place, having been a graphic designer for 14 years, and I know that it is very important to give the client exactly what they are looking for.

I take direction very well and am versatile and flexible in my vocal skills. I usually only require one or two takes to get the spot down. There's no wasting of time and money when it comes to my recordings.

I have been recording my voice in one way or another for most of my life. Now I do it professionally and it is the culmination of those years of practice and honing of my skills.
