Voice Description

I like to think that I can make my voice sound any way that I want or am asked to do. Primarily I have a tendency to mimic some of the greats such as Mel Blanc. English is pretty much the only language that I speak. A few French and Spanish words are about all I can do. Being from the South, most of my voices sound like the typical "dumb" country boy. I can do some other accents such as Irish, Indian, New Yorker, British(weakly) just to name a few.

My Voice Experience

I have no real experience. I have always enjoyed doing voices to make people laugh. As a bassist for a local band, I would be the one doing the funny things to leave an impression on the crowd.

My Training

I watch a lot of Looney Tunes. I can generally watch one and mimic most of them within a few minutes. The same goes with just about any cartoon. I know that this is no training but I find it useful for entertaining the children. In fact, my own children often ask me to try to mimic some of their favorites as a test for me.
I have also been a bass player for a local band and performed live in several locations around West Tennessee. I love to entertain people any way that I can.

Additional Skills

Blue collar most of my life, some computer skills such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. I spent some time in the U.S. Navy as well. I have always used humor to ease difficult situations. I try to find the "funny" in the worst of situations.
