My Voice Experience

My voice is currently being heard over the air. Having lived in Israel last year, i worked on commericals and news spots for an English news station. The nickname "the voice" follows me wherever I am. In college in New York City, my news spot was called the "voice with Brian Hoffman" Recently, i took over the phone recordings for a mortgage firm in Long Island, East Coast Equity.

My Training

I have studied voice since i was 12. Now 24 i realize that even my singing voice lessons have made my speaking voice even better. I have a Bachelors degree in Business, where I have used my voice in different telephone sales jobs to capture the attention of potential clients. I have always heard , "you get the sale because they are mezmorized by the voice" Once while working for American Online, a woman who i was trying to save as a member told me that the only reason whe didn't hang up immediately was just becuase she was amazed at listening to my Bass voice.

Additional Skills

I consider myself a performer in all walks of the arts not just voice overs. For years now i have been involved in singing gigs where i do ideed sing Bass - my singing has taken me to Jerusalem, Lincoln Center, and various other places in New York City. I also have dabbled in stand-up comedy and acting. A few years back i taught kids aged 3 to 14 Drama. I believe performance has been a large part of my life even away from the mic. Having been in sales for the last several years, my customers are amazed at my voice far before they even see the product I am pushing.
