I have 23 years experience as a Radio Host 17 doing mornings and in some Major Markets (Phoenix, AZ/Washington, D.C.). I began doing educational/eLearning Voice Overs in 2011 delivering quality, quickly.
I graduated from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA (1990),with a B.A. in English and History. I have worked in Radio on-air professionally for 21 of the last 23 years moving up from overnights in Martinsburg, WV, to nights in Knoxville, TN, to hosting mornings in Lexington, KY, Phoenix, AZ, and Washington, D.C. Since 2012, I have been hosting Mornings on WKWS in Charleston, WV.
In my home studio I use a Shure SM7B, Sterling Audio PF1 pop screen, Apogee Duet, and I edit with Adobe Audition on my iMac/MacBookPro.
I can deliver Audio in every format (.wav, .mp3, aiff, etc.) with Dropbox, YouSendIt, and other FTP-type protocols.
My polished, professional sound and my "turn around" speed are what separates me for my current eLearning or educational Clients. Educators have given me high marks for making a potentially boring course, "come alive."
With my professional radio experience, and English and History degree, I am able to competently strengthen eLearning scripts, while maintaining the Subject Matter Expert's vision.
By working within the client's eLearning Files (Articulate and others), I can then adjust all texts (ppt Slides, and notes), to reflect any necessary editing changes.
Audio is inserted within the client's file, animations are synched, client's file is saved in Dropbox, where it was opened; and client is happy, very happy!
