Rich, deep & very professional, but is able to keep the style very conversational...and upbeat when appropriate. Good range and a great vocabulary.
Excellent for narrations, very smooth with nice phrasing and a knack for emphasizing key points in the copy.
Voice can be commanding if required, but naturally sounds friendly and personable.

Can read in Spanish, but definitely does not speak it fluently.

My Voice Experience

As a PGA Golf Professional, I have 15 years of experience speaking in front of large groups.
Recent experience includes a National Broadcast appearance as a Commentator / Analyst on USA Network during the PGA Tour's Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic. I was also featured this year in a National Ad Campaign for Smith & Wollensky Steakhouses. I was the Commentator playing alongside Craig Stadler...I had a major speaking role in this series that aired on a number of networks.
I am also the Host of a "LIVE" Radio Show called "The Clubhouse". This was the 4th season of this successful 1 hr. golf program that is simulcast on 2 stations and covers the Metro NY, Long Island & Westchester County area! I have been the Voice-over talent for Snickers Crunchers candy bars in a billboard that was broadcast on National Television. I am also featured as Talent and voice talent in a Jr. Golf Instructional DVD that will be released in Spring of '07. I have had the honor of being a 1st Tee Announcer at 3 US Open Championships (Bethpage, Shinnecock, and Winged Foot). I have been the voice talent for many of the radio sponsor spots on WGCH, WLIE & WFAS. I have also acted as honorary emcee for numerous PGA events and forums.

My Training

I have a BFA from Syracuse University, and took a number of classes in radio & TV production in the Newhouse School of Communications. Before becoming a PGA Golf Professional, I was an Art Director...and I quickly became aware of the important characteristics of voice-over work. I was coached by Richard Lavsky of LavskyMusic, a sound studio in Manhattan before beginning my radio show career. Before My National Television debut as a Golf Commentator, I was coached by both Bill McGowan of Clarity Media (an affiliate of NBC/Universal) and Tom Rinaldi of "Now You're Talking" (an ESPN affiliate). Four years on the air as Host of my radio show have certainly given me invaluable experience! The radio has also enabled me to interview many athletes and celebrities as well.
I also enjoy writing, and I have even written a script that was accepted for a Nationally televised commercial. And as I mentioned earlier, many years speaking in front of crowds has been a valuable "training".
