my voice is mid-way between warm and deep, and young and inexperienced. probably describes my young voice-over career, too. for commercials my voice is young and hip. it can be unintelligent, or wry and whitty. I have a lot of fun performing voice overs, and it shows in my voice quality. for narrations, my personality shines through. my voice comes across very straight-forward and honest, and usually sounds like there is a know it all smile behind each appropriate line.

My Voice Experience

my young career as a voice over talent spans my time here in New York City. I have recently started auditioning this summer and look forward to that continuing on into the fall and winter months. I have not, as of yet booked a gig, but I am getting consistent in my auditioning techniques.

My Training

I trained with Marla Kirban, and produced my demo with her, also. I trained for about 12 weeks, and learned a vast amount about the voice over recording industry. in college I was a communications major, and took a few core classes in announcing (on camera and off). I also participated in video editing courses and helped produce television and radio shows for the local stations at Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. I have been auditioning and becoming more consistent with each one.

Additional Skills

I am an avid singer (in the style of Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin). I love to watch and play sports, and I have a really good knowledge of sports (born and raised in the Boston area). I am a pretty great whistler, also.
