Voice Description
I like to believe that my voice carries traits that are similar to my personality. I am a very laid back, enjoiyng-life-to-its-fullest kind of person who is simple and calculating at the same time. I talk the way that I type, generally, and vice-versa. I have a wide vocabulary for a variety of situations (professional, sport, general conversation), and i do not hesitate to mix it all in when necessary. Routinely, I am tasked to give technical presentations at my office - to people of various backgrounds. Depending on situation, i can voice pensive and philosophical, or i can go light-hearted and jovial.

My Voice Experience
Briefly in college, i was a disc jockey for the on-campus radio station. I handled a 'smooth jazz' radio show, for 2 hours on friday nights. While i do have cassette tapes of my shows, unfortunately the power of the station at the time was not strong enough for it to be heard outside of the student union. College campus... student union... friday night.... euphemism for ghost-town. But, it was fun!
My main experience is just talking. Some people say the eyes are a window to the soul, which works well when you are face to face with someone. However, via phone you cannot tell an emotion based on sight, so you have to rely on someone's voice. Quite simply, i do a lot of talking, and a lot of listening.
My Training
Everyday life working in a federal building has taught me to speak effectively and clearly.
Working with teens (coaching) has taught me how to convey the thoughts in my head at a level at which they can understand me, while keepin gtheir attention and making the sport that much more enjoyable.
Being around people from other countries has taught me to understand the power of the voice, the power of communciation, and how hard life becomes when simple words have complex meaning to different people.

Additional Skills
I have given numerous presentations to forieng and domestic officials, discussing the technical nature of the work my office performs, but at a layman's level.
I am an easy to get along with, attentive-to-detail person. I work well under pressure and dead-line situations, and I do my best to accomplish all that i undertake with a level close to perfection.
I believe I am a very worldly person. My tastes in food, music, culture are very ecclectic. Either through studies, personal enrichment, or personal contact, i like to think i soak up all that a particular environment has to offer.
