My Voice Experience
Unknown - Click here to ask Brett DeSalvo
Six years of theater training and singing in high school, and various community productions and sets. Workshops and performances with the Rubicon Theater Co. in Ventura, CA. Writer/Narrator for "Lucky Dumb Wrongness: The Ballad of Frank McCourt" (Digital Media project), host of "The Sports Experiment w/ Legally Blind Brett" on KCSF Radio, recorded PSAs that aired throughout SF/Bay Area radio stations and Pandora, and have recorded six commercials in-conjunction with SF Giants Special Events Dept, and have several liners in a myriad of voices.
My Studio Equipment
Computer, Microphone, sound-proof room, Adobe Audition, Audacity, Internet, portable hard drive, and have many friends with computer/engineer experience that provide me whatever assistance I may need. I also regulary have access to the studios of KCSF Radio in San Francisco when necessary.
I have been writing scrips and fiction since I was a "wee-lad", and know when something sounds professional, as I am the son of a newsradio man as my father, and a grammar snob with a Master's in English for my mother. If you give me a script with specific instructions, I will follow them to the "T". If you give me a blank canvas, I will paint it with colors that you will NOT find in the Crayola Big Box! I am a creative type who likes to have fun, but I also take my work very seriously. I'm also legally-blind, so if you keep me on the payroll, hat could satisfy any "ADA employment requirements" your company or studio may need to fulfill. (Smirk) The Bottom line is that if you give me a job, you will want to hire me again when the next job needs to be done.
