My Voice Experience

Having been told and nagged by nearly everyone i meet that i should do something on radio,I have actually very little voiceover/ radio broadcasting experience other than:

I have been singing and playing guitar for 15 years;

and have been teaching as a Physical Education/Geography/English teacher for 8 years. Being a teacher is very demanding on the voice especially teaching Physical Education. I am forever varying, challenging and changing my tone of voice when dealing with students. I believe being a teacher has taught me to use my voice.

Been in Education Department for 8 years, I have been singing and playing guitar for 15 years, I have refined the art of travelling down to a skill and in my time spent in the Uk (5 years)and travelling the word have learned much about many countries and their cultures. Have become very worldly.

For years people have been telling me to do radio and use my voice and up until this stage i have not bothered to do anything about it.So the time has come. I just hope i can gain the experience necessary as i am very competent and a confident person who has been successful in every job/training and education sector i have been involved in.
