Most of my voice-over experience comes from participating in various voluntary projects, such as audio dramas, fan dubs, machinima and abridged series, with my credentials including King Kirby (Smashtasm), the Daleks (Doctor Who: The Machinima series), all the ninja turles (TMNT Abridged) and Prowl in (Transformers: The Next generation [audio play]). However in recent weeks, I was given the chance to provide the voice of Airazor at TFcon 2011, and was personally selected by Garry Chalk (voice actor extraordinaire) to do so. (not bragging I swear haha).
The only real training I have ever been given is the few pointers I was given by garry Chalk at Tfcon 2011. Everything else has been crafted solely from practice.
My "studio" is not that impressive, as it is my laptop with a headset microphone on it. I do use Audacity, so I am able to clean my audio up a bit should it be required.
In terms of other skills, aside from going through school at the moment for mechanical engineering (so I can sound smart), I do consider myself to have good sense of humour, and I do enjoy being allowed to ad-lib as improv is a strong suit. Any job I've had had been in retail, though I doubt voice work is available for a shelf-stocker right? (haha).
