My Voice Experience
I have performed as a character actor in amateur theatricals. I have also entertained at parties and with friends. I have won local talent shows for my comic skits and singing impersonations.
I enjoy entertaining people, making them laugh at my comical voices or cringe at my "Nightmare on Elm Street"-type voices. I am often asked by friends and coworkers to perform one of the skits that I have written. They seem to particularly enjoy my "Corpse Bride" parodies and Crocodile Hunter skits.
My fellow actors have also enjoyed my voice characterizations. In fact, I received a standing ovation from my fellow actors during
an Aerosmith skit.
My Training
I have been blessed to have worked with a music teacher who has literally worked all over the world. In fact, she was named Massachusetts' Art & Music Teacher of the Year this year. She also introduced me to my voice teacher, who is a very talented musician and singer in his own right.
In addition, I have taken singing and acting workshops and have worked with local musicians in making demo recordings.

Additional Skills
I love to write song parodies, which have been very well received by audiences. I rewrite lyrics to songs (a la Weird Al Yankovic) and make them fit a skit or play that I am working on.
I have made telephone voicemail recordings for family and friends employing a variety of my character voices--from cartoon characters to movie stars.
I also practice video making, using techniques learned in classes that I have taken. So far, this has been strictly for the amusement of family and friends. In the future, I would like to expand these skills to produce corporate videos, etc. for which I would provide voiceover narration.
