My Voice Experience
I have had every role in theatre where my character had an accent of some sort. I was the Irish head waiter in The Matchmaker, numerous callers in Talk Radio, and Major Metcalf in Mousetrap. Those roles really got me interested in voicework and gave me the motivation to try doing impersonations. I love to do voices for people and have them say that I really do sound like those people.
My Training
I learned to hone my voicework skills by listening to who I wanted to copy and working my vocal cords until I could mimic that person. I usually do voices in the car while I'm driving just to keep up to speed.
