Voice Description

I have an extremely versatile voice. My voice talent consists of everything from serious dramatic readings, to up-beat and comical character voices. My specialty is most definitely character voices. I am interested in every aspect of the voice over business, i.e. film, television, radio syndication and so forth. A lot of my demos are parody songs I wrote performed by a family I created called The Jeffersons. If you can't tell, I do the voices of every member of the family. They're a pretty big hit on the morning show I co-host.

My Voice Experience

I remember hearing an ad on a local radio station about a voice audition being held to fill a partime DJ position. I was working in a wharehouse at the time and I figured, "why not"? I attended the audition and with no radio experience what so ever, I was chosen out of a hundred people to fill the position. I quickly fell in love with radio and progressed at an "un-heard of rate", as some of the "higher-ups" in the building would put it. To make a long story short, in roughly eight months I went from being a part-time DJ with a couple of airshifts a week, to a full-time producer/co-host of a morning drive show on a top-40 radio station. This is currently my profession and I've been doing it for a little over a year. My headshot says "Mitch" because my radio name is Mitch Myers. I have recorded and produced piles of commercials as well as comedy bits, parody songs and so forth. I can assure you that I can sound pretty much how ever you want me to.

My Training

I was in television production and Drama all throughout school. Most of my voice training came from on-the-job experience with the broadcasting company I currently work for.
