Voice Description

I've been an event announcer, and have a deep voice for narrations, smooth and professional for presentations. I am a Southerner, but am thankful that I don't have a Southern accent (unless I need one!).

I am not a fluent Spanish speaker, but have done well with readings in Spanish.

My Voice Experience

I'm new at professional voice overs.

I have been an announcer for large events, and have been asked to do several narrations and recordings for local clients, although not professionally.

I have been the emcee at local events and moderate the state quiz bowl competition (much like a game show host).

I have also done readings for Standardized Testing in public schools.

My Training

I hold a Master's degree in Music Composition, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education.

I have been a public school teacher for 21 years, and work occasionally as a facilitator and speaker for leadership and training seminars.

While I don't consider myself a singer, I have an extensive background in vocal and instrumental performance, as well as public speaking.

My Studio Equipment

MacBook Pro with Audacity software.

I do voices, and follow instructions. I have access to folks who know more about the technical aspects than I do, and am willing to acquire the necessary software and/or equipment to be more accessible and more successful.
