Voice Description
My normal VO voice is not your typical DJ-likevoice. It's more conversational, more mid-rangey, and this gives me a big edge in intelligibility. My specialty is in voiceovers for training and corporate communication, so this is a big advantage for both clear communication and for viewer acceptance.
I can also go into announcer mode, which is good for infomercials, high-energy productions and commercial parodies.
On top of all this, how about some character treatments? I got some characters for you. Southern, British, Yiddish, Indian, Monty Python voices, Rednecks, Upper-class Snobs, I've got a whole casting agency full of characters in my head, and they love to come out and play.

My Voice Experience
I've done a lot of voiceover work in the last 20 years or so for a variety of customers, in a wide range of production styles and for a wide range of media. I can perform in your studio of choice or can use my well equipped home studio where I can produce straight voice tracks or complete audio productions. While I've done a good deal of commercial work, the bulk of my work is in narration for documentaries, corporate communication and training. My background is in acting and public speaking - I've never been a "radio personality" and it shows in my work.
My Training
I was born and raised in the Deep South - Jacksonville, Florida, to be exact. A bit too young for the Baby Boom and too old for Generation X, I was raised on a steady diet of Cold War paranoia, 70's top 40 radio, indie films and fried chicken. I started singing in my early teens in church choir and started acting in high school. I studied theatre in college and performed in dozens of productions both in school and in professional repertory companies. My first voiceover work was right out of high school when I was a voice artist for an audioanimatronic installation (I was one of three pirates - yarr!).
Over the years, I've worn a lot of hats - actor, lighting designer, audio engineer, laser dude, grip, gaffer, shooter, editor, director, producer, classroom instructor, human performance improvement analyst, software designer, regulatory expert and company executive, but I've always kept my voice artist hat on underneath.
