Voice Description

I have a deep, versatile voice that can be used for concise and appropriate professional jobs as well as a bank of real-life and out of this world character voices at my disposal. My background in theater has trained me to deliver voices and accents with gusto as well as clarity. I can do Scottish and pirate accents very well. I also do a mean British from cockney to snooty aristocrat. Effeminate, metro-sexual voices are a specialty as well. It is my belief that a cartoon or other animated feature would best showcase my abilty to deliver wacky, colorful voices.

My Voice Experience

My experience is primarily performing theater and music. For example, to win a speech team performance in college, in which I was allowed no props or costumes, I performed the entire first ten minutes of Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs". This performance required me to use 8 different and distinctive voices simultaneously in a rapid-fire "his girl friday" style delivery. I won by giving each voice/character his due and allowing my voice to carry the performance.

My Training

I have been a singer in a variety of bands spanning reggae, rock, punk and everything in between. I am currently earning a film degree geared towards screenwriting. I have done tons of theater as well as performance art in which my voice factored heavily.
