My Voice Experience

I am just getting started in voice overs after many years of acquaintances remarking on my voice. I was involved for a time in Toastmasters International, practicing public speaking. I represented my organization, the ESL Center of Salt Lake City, for a PSA-style conversation on public radio.

My Training

I studied Voice for the Actor, a fine arts course taught by Ron Frederickson, as part of my undergraduate work at the University of Utah. I have taken film acting classes from Rob Diamond of Tru Talent Management in Salt Lake City, Utah and from Eric Jensen at Hale Center Theatre in West Valley. I have also taken professional voiceover training from Edge Studio in New York.

Additional Skills

I'm skilled in economic and business speak, having graduated in economics from the university. I also have two years of experience teaching ESL to adult immigrants and refugees. My voice is well adapted to teaching and training because I speak clearly and with emphasis on new words and concepts.
