My voice can take a number of directions. My natural voice is in the baritone/bass range. I can project youthful enthusiasm and optimism. I also often enjoy manipulating my voice for readings by taking on a deep warm tone and will adopt a subtle "British" accent for dramatic effect.

My Voice Experience
Consider me a diamond in the rough. I have little professional experience. My only official voice work was five years ago when I became the voice of Payless ShoeSource's automated customer service menu. I was working for their Information Center, at their corporate headquarters in Topeka, KS. The quality of my voice got the attention of the Customer Service management team. I was asked to do all the voice work for their call center. During that time I was responsible for recording the menu prompts, and special announcements to the field and consumers.
I have recently gotten the bug to consider doing voice work regularly. To my chagrin I have gone to job interviews and have been told I would make a great DJ. Not necessarily what you want to hear while applying for an analyst position.
However I do have a talent that I would enjoy sharing and profiting from.
My Training
My training has been largely informal. I was a regular performer in high school. During that time I MC'd talent shows and acted in a number of high school productions. Also during that time I participated in our top Choir as a bass and won a number of awards in debate and forensics.
Upon leaving high school I largely left that world behind but my voice is still strong and has much to offer.

Additional Skills
I graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, KS with Honors, and for the last eight years have developed a career with Payless ShoeSource working in their customer service department, their Logistics department, and currently with their Merchandising team. I regularly visit our stores across the country and spend time interacting with customers. My mid-western accent allows me to blend with any demographic and make connections with our customers. This ability to communicate enables me to be a strong salesperson.
