During 13 years experience in the voice over industry, Bob has been a continuity announcer for the BBC, voiced games for the Sony Playstation, narrated documentary series for the BBC, Bravo, National Geographic and The Discovery Channel, worked on ads for Glenfiddich, VW, Vodafone, WTN, podcasts for chillcast and tv/radio campaigns for Guinness. He is currently creating a range of audiobooks on the comedy industry.
Bob has a degree in English and Theatre from the University of Warwick, a Classical Acting Diploma from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, a Journalism Diploma from The Morris College of Journalism as well as over twelve year's experience as an actor, writer and voice over artist. For several years, he lived and worked in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and therefore has a broad understanding of how media works in different territories.
For a voice track, I use an AKG Perception 120 microphone connected to a Behringer Eurorack mixer that feeds into a Macbook Pro running Adobe Audition 3.0.
For more complex production, Bob can also access the studios at Focal Point Television, who have their own voice-over recording facilities in-house. These are often used for radio and TV commercials, video productions and films.
