Warmth, gravity, authority & wit.
Bob has a warm, authoritative voice that listeners find comforting and reassuring. A former continuity announcer for the BBC, Bob specialises in imparting technical and specialist information in a smooth and friendly manner. Also a writer and a classically trained actor, Bob can not only add epic to the everyday, but also bring the complex to the simplest script. Although his deep, assured tones are especially well suited to dramatic emphasis, Bob is equally at home with comedy.

He is currently creating a range of audiobooks on the comedy industry.
Bob has a degree in English and Theatre from the University of Warwick, a Classical Acting Diploma from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, a Journalism Diploma from The Morris College of Journalism as well as over twelve year's experience as an actor, writer and voice over artist. For several years, he lived and worked in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and therefore has a broad understanding of how media works in different territories.
My Studio Equipment
For a voice track, I use an AKG Perception 120 microphone connected to a Behringer Eurorack mixer that feeds into a Macbook Pro running Adobe Audition 3.0.
For more complex production, Bob can also access the studios at Focal Point Television, who have their own voice-over recording facilities in-house. These are often used for radio and TV commercials, video productions and films.
As a writer and trained journalist, I can provide professional standard copy.
