Voice Description

My career has been 38 years in radio news and national correspondant. I continue to do radio commercials. My voice is friendly and upbeat but I also have done and can do slow narrative as well as news documentary style. My voice, like my career is versatile. I do not have the BALLSY Radio voice loved in the 50's and 60's but a nice, pleasant deep voice. I do accents very well, especially latino, italian and french to a lesser degree. while i do speak some Italian it is by no means good enough for recording.

My Voice Experience

38 Plus years in radio starting in the early years as a disc jockey and commercial voice to sports director PBP and mostly in the news field with 10 years as a National Correspondant and Bureau Chief at the LA area UPI Radio Network.
Most recently have done radio spots for many Direct Response products and am Currently employed as a News Anchor at KNX 1070 News Radio, CBS Radio in Los Angeles.

My Training

38 years in the business should be enough said. Started in 1972 in local radio, eventually worked for the network and stations in Los Angeles including KNX, where I am currently employed.

My Studio Equipment

Internet with good microphone, can use the KNX Studios if need be. This is not a problem and I've been granted permission to use the studios for outside work.
