Voice Description

My natural voice is friendly, upbeat, warm and comfortable. I have realistic and believable characters and never sound forced or unnatural. I can add sultriness or depth (especially on those early morning VO sessions!) and a sense of youthfullness if the script calls for it, too!

I have studied French, a bit of Spanish, taken on a British accent, a killer "country twang", New Yorker...and much more in my VO career.

While my main occupation has been a radio personality over the years (including just about every format!) I've also had the pleasure to voice countless tv/radio commercials, industrial projects, news bumpers, message on hold, radio imaging and more.

My Training

I knew from a VERY young age that I wanted to use my voice to earn a living...and have great fun doing so!

My "official" start to VO's came as a young teen reading out loud the back of HBA products in the bathroom...sell that shampoo!!! When a radio broadcasting course came in high school...I was hooked! My kids tell me I still do "mock ads" around the house and in the car...I'm oblivious!

I attended Miami University, Ohio majoring in communications. I've had the opportunity to do a wide variety of public speaking including hosting charitable events, seminars, live television, interviews, and concert introductions.
