Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

DIALECTS: All the following accents in legit or characature--serious or comedic: New England, Southern (sophisticated country gentleman to hayseed hick), New York, Boston, Michigan (Yuper), Mellowspeak (California), Southwestern cowboy (legit and characture), English, Irish, Jewish, Italian, Swiss/Swedish, and many others. Bob is also a very talented "parrot"--play a recording a voice for him and in minutes, he'll mimick the accent, dialect, or character.

My Training

Numerous workshops on voice and audio production. Studied under Bob Norris, Russ Wheeler, Tom Cochran and others. Worked at Buzzy's Recording Service in LA with Orson Welles, Daws Butler, Tom Bosley, Casey Kasem, Danny Dark, Ernie Anderson, Joan Van Ark, June Foray, Stan Freburg and others. (Believe me, THAT'S TRAINING!)

My Studio Equipment

Huge classic and modern microphone collection including legendary studio and broadacst mikes by RCA, Neumann, Sennheiser, AKG, Electrovoice, Altec, Western Electric, Shure, and others. Main studio mikes are Neuman U-47 condensor, and Shure SM-7 dynamic. Recording is done on a PC equipped with Adobe Audition. Also have a HUGE stock music and sound effects library amassed over 40years in the business, including many hard-to-find classic Warner Bros effects and music and SFX from out of print libraries. Often called upon by major studios to supply hard-to-find effects and music styles.

Additional Skills

Actor (live and on-camera), ear-prompter proficient, award-winning audio editor and recording engineer (I have my own digital studio WITH PHONE PATCH), script writer/editor for TV, radio and commercials, extensive knowledge of MANY music and sound effects libraries, professional singer and whistler, accredited UFO researcher, classic car restoration, and I'm pretty good at hanging wallpaper.
