My Voice Experience
I have several years experience as an actor, singer and versatile voice over talent in the San Francisco Bay Area. My commercial voiceover work incudes a stint as the national radio spokesperson for Albertsons supermarkets. I am currently the radio spokesperson for their East Coast Acme supermarket chain. Over the years, I have voiced hundreds of regional cable ads for Comcast Media Services and other regional producers in the SF Bay Area.
I have voiced narrations for a wide array of companies including FujiFilm, the New York Public School System, The Gap, Kodak Corporation, Olympic Optical, Pegasus Aviation and most recently for Silicon Valley's Cisco Systems. Over a two year period I also voiced over 120,000 lines of narration as the principal voice of LeapFrog Toy's IQuest handheld device for middle schoolers.
I was originally cast at LeapFrog as the voice of Leap's Grandpa and performed along with Whoopi Goldberg in their original LeapPad books. I went on to voice scores of other original character voices for LeapFrog as well as narrations for other LeapFrog projects including LeapFrog collaborations with such well known children's book creators as Richard Scarry, Dr. Seuss and the Arthur, and Bob the Builder animations. My last narration for LeapFrog was the narrator role for a Walt Disney/LeapFrog collaboration titled Disney Princesses for nursery and elementary school age children.
My Training
I began my voice acting career by studying voice acting, at different times in San Francisco, with Susan McCollom, Taylor Korobow and Elaine Clark.
I began acting as a Drama major at Stanford University and performed in the acting company at PCPA for a season in the 70's.
I studied classical singing for several years with the late Letha Loyd Wayne and currently attend master acting classes with Linda Lowry in San Francisco.

Key components of my recording system are a Neumann TLM103 microphone, an Avalon Vt 737sp preamp and ProTools interface and editing software.
