Voice Description

I have a deep, soothing voice. Wonderful for narrations and voice overs. I talk in a professional manner, but can bend my vocal presentation to suit the project. I have a bass to my voice that projects competence and authority in the words I speak. I do have a very calming voice that is easy on the ears and helps people to relax.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

The character of my voice is great for voice overs of villains. I have a voice that if dark words are spoken, they sound very sinister. I can have a cheery sound to my voice. I am able to put a large amount of energy into my speech and flow when talking.
I have a mid-northern eastern American accent. I am told My voice and syntax sound like I'm from Delaware.
I can imitate a southern "Hick" accent, and a fake Chinese "china-man" accent.

My Voice Experience

I have little voice over experience, but I have lots of improv voice experience.
To explain, I am also a Yoga Instructor and I use my voice to calm my students through Yoga. I have set lines I say and I use them weekly.
I am able to follow script well, but if a moment arises when improv is needed, I am able to act.

My Training

I have an A.S. Degree in Radiology 2006.
I have had over 7 years of vocal training in chorus.
Though I do not have formal training in Audio Production, I have put together a viable Audio Studio that I can work from.

My Studio Equipment

I have an omni-directional mic and a standard voice mic. I use Audacity as my software. I am able to lay down, cut, splice, rip, and export into WAv and Mp3 files. I am familiar with Adobe's version of audio software, but I prefer Audacity and it's feel of the tracks. Though my equipment is a little under-par, I make up with my skills in post editing. I have noise reduction and augmentation capabilities as well.

Additional Skills

I have done event acting for Universal Studios Orlando in the past. It was there where I received a small amount for formal training in acting. I have had a High school course in Drama, but the Universal Course helped me more in portraying subtle changes in my voice or acting that alter the mood of a conversation or situation.
