My Voice Over career started when working on-the-air in San Bernardino CA at KFXM, KBON, and KMEN. I have been working in the Los Angeles radio market since 1974 with many Radio Promos and PSAs at KROQ, KHJ, KKDJ, KIIS AM & FM. I did a TV Game Show pilot announcer position. I narrated many industrial, governmental, business, and sales presentations. My many commercial credits also include national commercials for Zales Jewelers, and Sears.
I secured a Broadcast Media Arts and Journalism degree from San Bernardino Valley College CA and The College of The Canyons Valencia CA.
I continue to participate in ongoing acting, voice acting, and vocal workshops which I have for many years.
I also continue to include individual voice coaching lessons in my training. My excellent coaches over the years have included the late Real Don Steele, Joanie Gerber, Michael Bell, Gary Owens' hand over his left ear, Don Elliot, David Lawrence, Dan Balestrero, and Linda Stones (vocal instructor CSUN).
I prefer a ribbon mic for recording my own voice, and I use the AT2020 for auditions. I know ProTools and can easily edit finished voice tracks for quick MP3 file emailing. I am able to travel to any recording studio requested.
Along with voice over acting, most of my professional life has been spent working as a video editor for NBC, CBS News, HBO, MTV Music Videos, Compact Video Systems, Vidtronics, and Premore Post Production. I co-owned Line Of Sight Captions, a television closed captioning company for over 13 years.
